Boosting the Power of the Voices of California’s Oil and Petroleum Industry Workers
Meet California's Oil Workers
"I have a great deal that I owe the oil industry because they gave me a chance with my record, with little to no education that I am able to sustain a life. A plentiful life for me and my family"
- Charles Henderson, Lease Operator, E&B Natural Resources
About CROWN
The California Oil Worker Network (CROWN) is a coalition of oil and natural gas industry workers throughout California, united under the California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA). We represent the voices of over 55,000 hard-working, tax-paying California oil workers who are fighting to ensure that energy is produced in California, rather than relying on foreign imports. Our mission is to advocate for the issues impacting California's oil industry and its workers.
"Killing the oil industry is not going to help California. You are only going to leave us without jobs. Also, you are going to depend on foreign oil, and if you have ever seen how foreign oil is produced, you are going to see that the standards we have in California today are the number one standards of oil production in the world."
- Jorge Torres, Field Manager, Well Analysis Corporation
